Peter, 37 years. Last year I ran the 50km race at Lemkowyna and can’t wait to return to experience the awesome atmosphere before, during and after the race! It is one of the most fun races I have run since I started running ultramarathons 7 years ago. My favorite distance is 100 miles, although I of course love the challenge of pushing myself in the “shorter” ultradistances too. My best result is a win at GAX100 in Sweden two years ago and my dream race is Western States.

I always liked running but it was only about six years ago I started doing it more regularly after I signed up for my first marathon. I have since completed five marathons in my hometown Stockholm as well as some halfs and various shorter races.
Running has since become increasingly larger part of my life, enjoying both the exercise and the company of friends within the community. Lately, besides the road running, I've been more drawn to trail. Arriving last year for ŁUT was really love at first sight. A very well organised and welcoming race with beautiful landscape and sunshine (We'll see what weather this year will bring...) Already after having completed the 48k I started thinking about returning and now I'm looking forward to returning for a new challenge of 70k run. See you soon again Łemkowyna.

mieszkam w Sztokholmie, odkąd pamiętam chodziłem po górach, długie dystanse. Zabawę z ultra zacząłem wieki temu od pieszych maratonów, wtedy to 100km pokonywało się i w trzydzieści godzin, czas nie był ważny tylko dotrzeć do mety. Z czasem spróbowałem biegać niektóre etapy i było coraz lepiej. Od paru lat częściej pojawiam się w Polsce, na kolejnych biegach, najprzyjemniej wspominam Łemkowyne, nie tylko trasa, przemili wolontariusze, kibice oraz zawodnicy, nieziemska atmosfera, a po biegu potańcówa, łaźnie oraz sauna. Dzięki współpracy z firmą Vingberg w tamtym roku udało mi się pokazać uroki tych zawodów znajomym z kluby biegowego, z którymi biegam w Sztokholmie. W tym roku wracamy na dłuższą trasę, po więcej błota, do bardziej rozgrzanych saun oraz jeszcze gorętszej imprezy po biegu.
